Symptom #
Within the global configuration of the SAP Business One connector tool, when attempting to configure a connection to a SAP B1 database the following error occurs:
Failed to connect or logon to SLD
Cause #
When configuring the connection, the use of ‘localhost’ instead of using the host name can cause a connection failure.
Solution #
Within the Server and License Server fields, enter the full hostname of the machine instead of using the term ‘localhost’. For example, WIN75-ORB-MDC.
