Symptom #
Upon defining the “Operation” of a step in the Web Service Connector, the BPA Platform client crashes. This is due to the tool trying to create a schema.txt file to the C:\ directory and the active user does not have permission to write to C:\.
Resolution #
Give the user administrative permissions to write to the C:\ directory.
Or
Create a file on the C:\ directory titled “schema.txt” and give the user access to this file only. This will allow the file to be updated as opposed to it being created.
