Symptom #
A task with a SAP Business One connector step connecting to a SAP HANA database is failing with the error:
The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel
Cause #
The HANA license server is not accessible over the SSL connection.
Solution #
On the machine where the CommunicatorWS web service is installed, enter the following URL into the web browser to check if the HANA license server is accessible:
https://[HANA_LICENSE_SERVER]:[PORT]
Note: Where HANA LICENSE SERVER enter the location, where PORT enter the port number.
If the certificate error occurs here, then the issue is outside of TaskCentre and the SAP support team should be contacted for further guidance.
