Symptom #
Modifying the SAP Business One tools from the ‘add/remove’ programs list to install the event agent, fails at the point of registering with the TaskCentre server. The following error message is received:
-2147024891 (0x80070005) connecting to TaskCentre server
Cause #
This message is a Windows access denied error message, preventing the install from completing.
Resolution #
Modifying the installation by running setup.exe (Run as Administrator) from the original SBO tool installer files, normally resolves the issue.
