Symptom
When you click OK after adding a new connection in the SalesLogix Connector Tool global configuration, you may get the following error message:
UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\SlXConnectorWS\Schemas\' is denied.
Cause
The account that the SLX Connector web service runs under does not have permission to write to SlX Connector web service schemas directory. Default location of the schemas directory is:
‘C:\intepub\wwwroot\SlxConnectorWS\Schemas’
Resolution
Give the account that the SLX Connector web service runs under (Normally this is the NETWORK SERVICE account) full control to the ‘C:\intepub\wwwroot\SlxConnectorWS\Schemas’ directory.
