The Business Advice Hub aims to offer support, help and advice to customers in the UK and Ireland
Sage has recently launched the Business Advice hub, a new online community offering support, help and advice to customers in the UK and Ireland.
Sage created the Business Advice hub in response to SMBs expressing a need for more community. In a poll of 200 UKI Sage customers, many said that running a business in 2023 was far more difficult than it had been in the past, thanks to an increasingly unsteady economic landscape.
They reported experiencing stress and anxiety, and wished for more avenues for support, help and advice – specifically, 86% of those surveyed expressed an appetite for a community that could answer this need, which led to the launch of the Business Advice hub.
Here, customers will be able to connect with each other as well as Sage and industry experts, exchanging information and sharing advice on a variety of topics related to their businesses, skillsets and personal development. Specifically, customers will be able to:
- Attend world-class virtual events run by industry specialists on topics such as building resilience and driving innovation, to ensure ongoing learning
- Get advice from established industry leaders and Sage experts via online forums to help customers identify ways to take their business to the next level
- Connect with peers through the ‘find a member’ feature that allows customers to get support and advice on specific challenges and topics
Sage first tested this idea earlier this year when it launched a discussion forum on sustainable business, coinciding with Season 3 of its Member Masterclass series on the same topic. The forum saw great engagement from customers, leading to the vision for an expanded Business Advice hub now available to all UKI customers at no additional cost.
“Work-related stress and feelings of isolation have become a prevalent issue, especially for entrepreneurs and small business owners who often navigate these feelings alone. The Business Advice hub is designed to support our customers with everyday business challenges by connecting like-minded people and providing access to expertise on all manner of business topics. Our goal is to support our customers and help their businesses thrive,” said Liam Scarth, Membership Experience Director, Sage.
