Latest release of SYSPRO ERP features new capabilities aimed at increasing organisational efficiency and optimising supply chain operations
SYSPRO has recently announced the immediate availability of SYSPRO 8 2023. The ERP provider has declared that the latest release includes more than two dozen new capabilities and features, including advanced quality control, enhanced warehouse functionality, increased security and connectivity, and even more predictive power through enhancements to SYSPRO Embedded Analytics.
Fully integrated into SYSPRO ERP, a new SYSPRO Quality Management solution has been created to enable manufacturers to set their own quality control standards in their business, achieve less variability and improve overall customer satisfaction. Quality managers will have instant access to all the critical information required to track a suspect product, from the delivery of raw materials to customer delivery. Functionality includes customer complaints, recall management and configurable inspections capabilities.
The new ‘Pricing Engine: Product Catalog’ capability will allow businesses to create a comprehensive catalogue of their products with associated pricing and promotions. It’s customisable for different sales channels and aims to facilitate seamless online sales, more effective marketing promotions and efficient pricing management.
A new Warehouse Management System (WMS) Marshalling feature will enable manufacturers to streamline staging and packing of sales orders to enable the efficient consolidation of multiple orders for a customer into one shipment, generate accurate manifest documents, and print outer labels and manifests based on packaging constraints and stock items shipped.
New Embedded Analytics Big Data Connectors will enable organisations to seamlessly connect to cloud and other data sources, and consolidate information for comprehensive analysis. Organisations will therefore be able to scale analytics capabilities to handle growing volumes of data, such as IoT capture, to ensure they can accommodate current and future data interrogation needs.
Lastly, users can now log in to SYSPRO via Single Sign On (SSO) using their existing Microsoft, Google or LinkedIn accounts, which helps streamline the login process and enhance user convenience. Administrators can easily manage user access and permissions through centralised identity providers, reducing administrative burden and ensuring consistent user authentication across multiple applications.
