Access acquires CoreHR and People, and establishes Access People Division
The Access Group is making huge investments into the human capital management software market following the acquisition of CoreHR, a provider of HR and payroll software for mid-market and enterprise-level businesses in the UK and Ireland.
This follows soon after the group’s acquisition of People, a provider of HR software to small and medium enterprises (SME).
Access hopes both these acquisitions will establish itself as one of the leading suppliers of human capital management software, as well as enable it to penetrate the Irish market with Access Workspace.
CoreHR’s solution set, which includes people management, payroll, workforce management, recruitment, talent management and learning, will be made available through the Access Workspace platform – a cloud-based platform that delivers a suite of business solutions enabling collaboration and communication across the entire workplace.
The combination of these HCM focused assets will form the Access People Division and Dean Forbes, the current CEO of CoreHR, will become its President.
CoreHR’s HR software currently serves more than 270 customers with 1 million users, including the likes of Aston Villa, Cineworld, JD Sports, Rank Group and the University of Oxford.
