Strong performance of TaskCentre driving requirement for additional resources to maintain high levels of service and support
Orbis Software, the market leader in business process management (BPM) software with its TaskCentre product, continues to buck the economic downturn by further expanding its commercial and technical business units.
The strong performance of TaskCentre worldwide, and specifically within the Sage, SAP and Microsoft partner channels, is driving the requirement for additional resources to maintain high levels of service and support.
Mathew Lidster, Sales Director for Orbis Software, commented on the company’s ongoing expansion: “The global downturn has focused the attention of business owners and senior management on reducing operational costs and increasing employee productivity. With TaskCentre offering businesses the opportunity to automate repetitive and costly business processes, we have experienced a significant increase in the demand for our solution. As a direct result of this strong market growth, we are able to invest further in our commercial and technical teams.”
Paul Garratt, Product Manager for Orbis Software also highlighted another factor in the growing demand for TaskCentre within its global channel community customer bases: “Prior to the economic downturn, we invested in the development of next generation drag and drop integration tools to provide an alternative to the more traditional and costly approach to data and application integration. These tools have proven to be extremely popular and with IT budgets now being frozen or reduced the demand for them has increased tenfold.”
In the last twelve months Orbis Software has expanded its international market coverage into Germany and the developing eastern European countries, leading to a doubling of its workforce.
