User-friendly interface enabling mapping of BPA Platform data onto Dynamics 365 BC objects
Codeless Platforms is pleased to announce the release of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Connector v1.0; a new tool providing BPA Platform with easy-to-use connectivity to a Dynamics 365 Business Central company database.
The Connector has a user-friendly interface enabling mapping of BPA Platform data onto Dynamics 365 Business Central objects — codeunits, pages, and queries are also supported for mapping. This allows for data to be synchronised between Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC and third-party systems it does not normally connect with.
The Connector uses a separately installed Agent as an intermediary to maintain the connection between BPA Platform and the Dynamics 365 Business Central API at runtime.
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Connector Tool Pack
The tool pack consists of:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Agent — This can be installed locally on the BPA Platform server or on a separate, accessible computer.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Connector — This must be installed on the BPA Platform server as well as any remote client machines that will run Dynamics 365 Business Central tasks.
