GHA Solutions extols BPA Platform’s ease of use and flexibility in Epicor integration projects
Codeless Platforms today revealed that GHA Solutions, an authorised Epicor reseller and support partner, has gained immediate ROI for both itself and its customers by offering and deploying BPA Platform for Epicor integration and automation projects.
The adoption of BPA Platform by GHA Solutions was initially due to one of its customers requiring an integration solution between Epicor and Salesforce that was more sophisticated than alternative off-the-shelf offerings. The customer not only wanted to have a product that linked Epicor to Salesforce but also had the capability to link to other yet to be defined company systems. Based on these requirements, GHA Solutions recommended the flexibility of BPA Platform.
“The first project that we decided to use BPA Platform was for a customer that required Salesforce integration with Epicor – pushing data to and from the systems via BPA platform. Since then, we’ve sold BPA Platform to a number of our customers that use it for slightly different requirements. Some very simple, others a bit more complicated,” explained Gary Gedney, Technical Director, GHA Solutions Ltd.
“The main reason we like BPA Platform is its ease of use, that it’s very intuitive and doesn’t need expensive specialised resource. Once you understand how it works and how the web service interface works, even someone that’s not highly technical can pick it up, figure it out and start creating solutions. I was able to integrate Salesforce with Epicor and start pushing and pulling data within 30 minutes. Historically, I would be looking at days, not hours to do that. It’s a platform that makes the whole process of integration much easier – you can see what’s going on from a visualisation point of view. You can do quite powerful things with BPA Platform.”
BPA Platform’s flexibility means that it can be used in any size organisation and ROI can be realised very swiftly, helping to automate data transfers, reduce errors and streamline business processes.
“What’s nice with BPA Platform is the price point of the starter package. It makes it a much easier decision and relatively easy to justify deploying it. If it was a lot more expensive then customers would be questioning whether it adds value. However, not having to rekey data, reducing the possibility of errors and making that whole process more streamlined provides definite benefits – from a cost point of view as well as a data accuracy point of view. When it’s a small customer that wants to do a little bit of integration, it’s a no brainer, because you don’t have to do much work to prove the ROI is there; even having the ability to show it instantly in some cases, because of how easy the platform is to use,” enthused Gedney.
“It’s definitely an improvement and an additional string to the bow in terms of our offerings. We like to have applications available for pretty much anything that a customer needs. If there’s a requirement for it, we want to be able to meet that requirement, and we like to do that with a product that we’re comfortable with and confident in. BPA Platform is certainly one of those products.”
