Procurement, supply chain and finance specialist, Akquinet Hungary, joins Codeless Platforms’ channel network
Codeless Platforms today revealed that Akquinet Hungary, an IT and business consulting specialist in procurement, supply chain and finance, has been able to generate extra revenue following the deployment of Codeless Platforms’ BPA Platform and Applications Platform. The two platforms are being used to integrate a document management system and digital archive with ERP systems, automate numerous processes, as well as deploy web portals. Akquinet has subsequently joined Codeless Platforms’ channel partner network.
“Codeless Platforms’ solutions are a very good match with our original products (OCR and digital archive) and with our business process expertise,” said Orsolya Vermes-Szabo, Product Development Head, Akquinet Hungary. “Through these low-code platforms we can increase revenue from the original sales, as we can now offer easy integration and very nice, customised workflow and business process automation.”
Established in 2016, Akquinet Hungary is a subsidiary of IT solutions company Akquinet Germany. Its clients are either mid-size companies with a basic ERP, some decent paper document volume and limited in house IT resources, or small companies without an ERP system, but growing out of the Excel-based business management and looking for innovative solutions instead of hard coded, packaged ERP systems.
“We were looking for a partner company that could provide us with a solution to help us deliver business process excellence to small and mid-size companies, which also met our three crucial requirements: it must be flexible, very easy to implement as well as cost effective for clients with limited IT and process improvement budget,” explained Vermes-Szabo.
“ BPA Platform and Applications Platform seemed to be the perfect solution. The products enable us to talk business language with our clients, optimise their processes and then translate their needs easily to IT language: code it, fine-tune and then quickly hand it over for daily use. The products are also easy to bug-fix or adjust in case of any change request as environment changes; there is no need for time-consuming scoping or IT infrastructure changes.”
One of Akquinet’s key products is FakturyManager, an end-to-end document management system for accounts payable departments and related processes, such as logistics, procurement and financial reporting. Akquinet also provides a paperless digital archive, audited by Deloitte, to ensure legal compliance in the European Union, as well as automated invoice booking to the client’s bookkeeping system, via the web service, after approval.
“We are using BPA Platform to integrate our OCR solution with our customers’ ERP systems and then using Applications Platform to create a professional user interface (UI) so that users can manage the life cycle of the documents: approval workflow, automatic 3-way match with purchase orders and delivery notes, invoice rejection, Intrastat reporting, etc.,” explained Vermes-Szabo.
The demand for this type of solution is mainly originating from the construction industry and construction related retail businesses, as well as FMCG and food and beverage manufacturers.
