G3G Africa to use BPA Platform for SAP Business One integration and automation projects
Codeless Platforms today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with G3G Africa, an SAP Gold Partner that supports and works with organisations across Africa to create lasting and sustainable business transformation by implementing SAP software. With a focus on SAP Business One, SAP Business ByDesign and S/4HANA, G3G’s diverse portfolio of clients includes manufacturing companies, mining operations, retailers, professional services companies, and wholesale and distribution organisations.
Codeless Platforms has been indirectly involved with G3G for quite some time as some of its clients already use BPA Platform. However, when the partner it worked with in South Africa decided not to renew its partnership with Codeless Platforms, G3G approached Codeless Platforms directly to establish this new partnership so that it could continue to support its clients.
Commenting on the partnership, Ian Theron, Head of SME Business Unit, G3G Africa, said: “As we didn’t have direct contact with Codeless Platforms previously, we weren’t really exposed to the value that such a partnership would bring. However, we can now see the opportunities that are possible, and we want to explore the mutual benefits that can be achieved.”
As a result, G3G will be looking at supporting and evolving its existing SAP client base and will also be promoting BPA Platform to new clients. “It could be integrating SAP Business One with other products, or automation of business processes and workflows, because that’s what our existing clients mainly use it for – full workflow and notification-based workflows,” explained Ian.
Codeless Platforms has a long-standing relationship with SAP, with BPA Platform fully certified for Integration with SAP Business One on either an MS SQL or SAP HANA database. This integration, which includes the integration tool pack for SAP Business One, helps users automate the management of company data, as well as providing an efficient and effective way of integrating SAP Business One with other on-premises or cloud-based software.

Where G3G Africa can’t do something natively within SAP Business One, they look for available alternative solutions or look at developing it themselves. G3G has a development team that has web capabilities as well as SDK expertise. However, G3G’s focus will always be to get the best possible solution to address its client’s needs so if it’s something that can’t be achieved in-house, it looks for a tried and tested solution in the market.
BPA Platform is simple to use and encourages clients to quickly become self-sufficient. End users, without any coding background, can easily be trained to use the product themselves. If users understand SAP Business One, understand the process, and know how to work with BPA Platform, then it becomes a straightforward thing to do.
