Codeless Platforms’ BPA Platform to utilise GCI’s SMS gateways and SMS messaging API
Codeless Platforms today announced that following a partnership agreement, GCI will become its exclusive SMS service provider. As a result, Codeless Platforms’ BPA Platform (formerly TaskCentre) will be fully compatible with GCI’s SMS gateways and SMS messaging API, and GCI’s SMS services will be recommended to customers that require the ability to communicate with stakeholders via SMS.

Business to consumer (B2C) SMS, as well as business to business (B2B), has had somewhat of a resurgence of late, having proven to be a reliable and effective communication tool, with most SMS messages being opened within three seconds of receipt. In fact, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) estimated that over 7 billion business to consumer text messages will have been sent throughout 2017.
The popularity of the Notifications and Alerts capability within BPA Platform is testament to this. It enables Codeless Platforms’ customers to automate the sending of SMS messages to both internal (management, sales, finance, operations) and external (customers, partners, suppliers, members) covering a wide range of topics ranging from critical alerts and customer communication to data management alerts and marketing.
In conjunction with this new partnership announcement, Codeless Platforms will be issuing an end-of-life date for its current BPA Platform SMS tool, M-Science.
