New features added to Sage 200 Connector Tool for BPA Platform
Codeless Platforms today announced the immediate availability of the Sage 200 Connector Tool v5.7.0. The latest certified version of the tool allows users to communicate directly with Sage 200 in order to both read data from a system as well as write data back to it.
The following features have now been incorporated into the Sage 200 Connector Tool v5.7.0:
- New Add operation added to object PB – Stock Item Prices
The new operation allows stock items to be added to limited price bands. This is not applicable to Universal Price Bands which already have all products assigned to them by Sage 200. - Setting and filtering by analysis codes
Analysis codes on header fields can now be filtered.
The Sage 200 Connector Tool allows users to communicate with Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Nominal Ledger, Cashbook, Sales Order Processing, Invoicing, Purchase Order Processing, Stock Control, Bill of Materials, Project Accounting and Accounting System Manager.
For example, if a user has a commercial website selling goods to trade or retail customers, by using BPA Platform with the Sage 200 Connector Tool it is possible for the user to:
- Upload a full product catalogue to the website
- Upload product stock levels to the website
- Download new customers from the website to Sage 200
- Download new orders from the website for processing
The above assumes that connectivity can be achieved with a website. This would normally be achieved through BPA Platform’s Web Service Connector Tool, FTP or another specialist connector tool.
Compatible Sage 200 versions
Version 200c (up to 2024 R2) of Sage 200 are supported. In each case, only the latest service packs at the time of release are supported.
Prerequisite BPA Platform versions
The Sage 200 Connector requires BPA Platform 4.6 or higher.
Sage 200 client components must be installed on the machine hosting the BPA Platform client and/or server software.
